![]() I know it's easier to find the problem if you're actually here, looking at the a/c unit but hopefully I'm telling you enough information to help. Are you saying this may be like a fuse or something? Is that what I would be using the VOM meter for? And where would I use this VOM meter once I get one? I have placed a vaccuum inside the unit and always clean the filter.have not cleaned from outside yet, (had for one year), and am wondering if that would be the cause, (I do have a very basic manual that states something about checking the coiling for blockage.) As I need to get this taken care of asap, (it's just too hot like this), would like to know how long it will take to get the manual and anything else to try first before calling for maintenance. (In Miami, very hot.) This unit is lived in and everything else is working well. (Another a/c unit in the front still working, thankfully.) Today, it's very obvious that the unit is not blowing cold air, just air. The a/c unit has worked beautifully up until yesterday evening when I noticed it wasn't very cold in the back bedroom as the rest of the place. All the best, R.J.įirst time using this site so want to make sure I'm covering everything. It is the only way I get compensated for my time. This may be something as simple as a switch or relay. This manual is quite lengthly but covers almost anything that can go wrong with a Duo Therm A/C unit. I prefer the digital readout versions as I think they are easier for most people to use. ![]() A VOM meter is needed and these can be purchased at most automotive stores, Radio Shack or Walmart for about $15 and they are almost a must for doing any electrical trouble shooting. I can get you a copy of the Duo Therm service manual and you can look through the trouble shooting guide if you feel like taking a shot at it. My name is XXXXX XXXXX perhaps I can assist you with this. Hi: Thanks for coming to Just Answer with your question.
